Luciana has proven she is an entertainer of immeasurable talent who has embodied what it truly means to entertain. Luciana meaning "Light" was born February 6th in Chicago Illinois, destined to live in a world of entertainment. As a child growing up in the 80's Luciana latched onto entertainment as it became an important part of her "way of life."  Entertainment had become so enjoyable that it began to transform and shield her from life's adversities creating a bridge of incredible wonder. Luciana established her journey of entertainment in Rockford Illinois as a backup singer for three local bands who toured countless cities and states. Her voice has been quoted as “sensually breathtaking, and seductively Captivating” it was truly known that Luciana has the assurance of a star. By the year 2002, Luciana became one of Rockford’s best-undiscovered local talents. Known for her sensual seductive and sultry vocals as well as her smooth flowing lyrics, she would captivate audiences wherever she performed. Continuing to astound and captivate her audience, Luciana worked on her solo album "Open Mic Night" which won her 2003’s RAMI (Rockford Annual Music Industry) Award for Composer of the year along with a Nomination for album of the year which generated a buzz around Rockford opening appearances and interviews by the media concerning her talent.

 

The award opened a door creating another path in entertainment, acting. Luciana has done countless theater performances that includes theatrical plays, and musicals.  In the summer of 2006 she was recognized with a "Spotlight Award" for her role as Dahlia in Rock Valley College’s rendition of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Broadway musical “Cats.” Driven to take her career further, Luciana moved to Atlanta Georgia where she continued with theatrical productions and was introduced to film, where she worked as an extra for major films such as Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too,” “Big Momma's House 3,” Aimée Lagos “96 Minutes,” Tyler Perry’s “4 Colored Girls” also Independent films such as “The Ivy League” Directed by Dwayne Boyd. “Chambers of Death” a Bill Duratt Film. Luciana had the opportunity to work as a "Stand-in" for the major television sitcoms written by Tyler Perry; “House of Payne” and “Meet the Browns.” Entering into another area of entertainment Luciana expressed a deep appreciation for writing. Enjoying some of her favorite authors such as contemporary horror, suspense, sci-fi, and fantasy writer “Stephen Edwin King, and Dean Koontz.” Screenplay writer “Steven Allan Spielberg” and Lord of the rings screenplay writers “Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Peter Jackson.” Luciana wanted to add a mixture of life’s wonders and adventures with some of her true life experiences to create an astonishing library of stories. Currently Luciana has published two (2) books; a fictional life drama suspense called “Oh Lucy, a story about a woman who is unaware she has multiple personality disorder while on trial for murder." And "Five Star" a story about a man who receives one ridiculously strange prediction that consumes his life as he fights to prove his sexuality." From singer/songwriter to actress and writer, Luciana continue to unlock her future stepping into the realm of entrepreneurship as the owner of “LucyLu Filmz” birthing into the independent film scene which will have a collaboration of all Luciana’s passions, talents, and dreams. Life is full of many exciting surprises and vast opportunities and the coming years proves to be exciting for Luciana as more doors continue to open.
