Short Synopsis:
“Living with LucyLu,” is an American situational comedy that follows the journey of LucyLu Ferris, an aspiring plus size African American female entertainer and her assortment of thespian roommate and friends.
LucyLu Ferris moves to Atlanta Georgia with Uncle Eddie and wife Martha Ann Ferris to pursue a career in entertainment. LucyLu’s Uncle Eddie’s untimely death left her with more responsibilities then what she anticipated. With the help of her sassy, ridiculing, beautician to the stars/best friend (Simone) LucyLu decides to have roommates to aid her in keeping a roof over her head while continuing her journey to notoriety, but what she didn’t foresee was becoming a psychiatrist tending to everyone’s needs but her own. From the grieving groupie (Ms. Pearl) to the black balled ex- actress diva (Hattie). An old school, living in the past retired band member (JDub) to a confused busy body dancer (Chris). A rejected bougie playwright (Thelma) to a moody, in denial Actress (Monique). LucyLu is surrounded with uncanny characters to support her on the journey to stardom.
